A: Grass, I lied about the wheels.
Sometimes it’s good to be alone,
To hurt and frown and be on your own,
It’s in this time we begin to appreciate the things around us,
We value the company of others more because we begin to crave any form of meaningful interaction,
We hide behind computer monitors, mobile phones and TV screens,
Screaming for life to start.
For the anger and noise projected into our faces 24 hours a day,
We forget that others have feelings and hopes and dreams,
Because it’s so cold and distant, lost behind technology,
That cold blank face can’t show you love, warm your soul or bring you up,
It feigns attentiveness to those with vulnerable minds,
I lose more of my soul,
With every word I type.
